Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
This Agreement aims to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Charm Vascular Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the “Hospital”) and its users regarding the services (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Services”) provided through the Hospital’s website, which can be used with a single member ID and password.
Article 2 (Definitions)
① “User” refers to members and non-members who access or visit the site and receive all services provided by the Hospital under these Terms.
② “Member” refers to a person who provides personal information to the Hospital, agrees to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and registers as a member to continuously use the Services.
③ “Non-member” refers to a person who uses the Services provided by the Hospital without registering as a member.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms)
① These Terms shall be effective for all members who agree to them and apply for membership on the Website.
② The Hospital may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws when deemed necessary for the operation of Services. The amended Terms shall also apply to members who joined prior to the amendment.
③ In the event of amendment, the Hospital shall notify members at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date via online notice or email. However, in urgent cases requiring immediate amendment for serious reasons, the Terms may be amended immediately, with the reasons announced together.
④ If a member does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue using the Services and withdraw membership. Continued use of the Services after the amendment will be deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 4 (Matters Not Specified in the Terms)
① The Hospital may establish detailed policies for individual Services, which will be announced through service guidelines or separate terms.
② Any matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations.
Article 5 (Membership Registration)
① Individuals aged 12 or older may apply for membership by agreeing to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and providing personal information, and membership is established once the Hospital approves the application.
② All information entered in the membership application form must be true and accurate. Members who provide false or inaccurate information will not be legally protected.
③ The Website may refuse or cancel membership if any of the following apply:
The name provided is not real.
A false resident registration number is provided.
False information is entered during application.
The application is made with the intent of disturbing public order or morality.
Acts prohibited by laws such as the Telecommunications Basic Act, Telecommunications Business Act, Information and Communications Ethics Code, Program Protection Act, or other related laws have been committed.
Technical reasons make it significantly difficult for the Website to register the member.
Article 6 (Obligations of Members)
① Members must provide accurate information and update it immediately upon changes.
② Members must not use another person’s ID or personal information.
③ Members must comply with these Terms and applicable laws, and are fully responsible for the management of their ID, password, and personal information.
④ Members must check regularly whether their ID has been stolen or misused and report such incidents immediately to the Hospital.
⑤ Members are responsible for logging out after using the Services, and must not use unauthorized methods to access the Services.
⑥ Members must report any bugs or defects discovered during use immediately to the Hospital and must not exploit them.
Article 7 (Obligations of the Hospital)
① The Hospital shall not engage in any acts prohibited by laws or these Terms.
② The Hospital shall endeavor to provide continuous and stable Services.
③ The Hospital shall handle valid opinions or complaints from members immediately, and if not possible, notify the member of the reason and expected schedule.
Article 8 (Withdrawal of Membership)
① Members may withdraw membership at any time through the withdrawal menu, and the Hospital shall process it immediately.
② Upon withdrawal, the Hospital shall immediately delete the member’s personal information, retaining only the ID to prevent re-registration.
③ Re-registration is not possible with the same ID; a new ID must be used.
④ The Hospital may forcibly terminate membership or suspend Services without notice if any of the following apply:
False information was provided during application.
Another person’s ID, password, or resident registration number was stolen.
Intellectual property rights of the Hospital, other members, or third parties were infringed.
Acts against public order or morality were committed.
Acts damaging the reputation of or causing disadvantages to others or the Hospital were committed.
Acts that may cause disruption to the information network were committed.
Services were used for profit without the Hospital’s permission.
Points managed by the Hospital were acquired without permission.
Acts prohibited by laws or these Terms were committed.
Article 9 (Notification to Members)
① The Hospital shall notify members via the email address provided. The Hospital is not responsible if the email is false, unchecked, or undelivered due to the provider’s issues.
② For general notices, the Hospital may post on the Website for at least one week, and shall not be liable for damages caused by failure to check such notices.
③ The Hospital may send useful information or advertisements to members via email. Members may refuse such emails, except for essential notices regarding Terms, Privacy Policy, or important policies.
Article 10 (Service Restrictions)
① Members are responsible for damages caused by providing false information such as name, resident registration number, or email. If real-name verification fails, Services may be restricted.
② Additional authentication may be required before certain Services are provided.
③ The Hospital may restrict or suspend Services without notice if any of the following apply:
Use of stolen or falsified ID/resident registration number.
Abnormal acts or violations of regulations.
Offensive postings on boards or online spaces.
Exploitation of service bugs or defects.
Article 11 (Copyrights and Restrictions on Use)
① Copyrights and intellectual property rights of materials created by the Hospital belong to the Hospital. Members must not process, reproduce, distribute, or use them for profit without consent.
② Rights and responsibilities for posts created by members belong to the posting members. The Hospital cannot use them for profit without prior consent.
③ Posts may be deleted without notice if they:
Defame the Hospital or members.
Violate public order or morality.
Relate to criminal activity.
Infringe copyrights or other rights.
Contain false or unverified information.
Are advertisements.
Impersonate Hospital staff or affiliates.
Are inconsistent with the board’s purpose.
Violate applicable laws.
④ Members are responsible for any losses caused by their posts.
⑤ If a third party files claims against the Hospital due to a member’s post, the member shall bear costs and resolve disputes.
Article 12 (Privacy Policy)
① The Hospital protects members’ personal information and announces it separately under the title “Privacy Policy.”
Article 13 (Damages and Exemptions)
① The Hospital is not liable for damages related to free Services unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
② The Hospital is exempt from liability for interruptions caused by force majeure, natural disasters, or emergencies.
③ The Hospital does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of posts. Members should consult experts before making decisions based on information obtained through the Services.
④ The Hospital may display advertisements. The Hospital is not responsible for damages caused by advertisers.
⑤ The Hospital is not liable for damages caused by violations of these Terms, negligence, failure to check notices, or inaccurate information provided by members.
Article 14 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)
① The Hospital receives and handles complaints and opinions via Website, email, phone, or written communication.
② Disputes related to personal information may be referred to the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.
③ For lawsuits arising from the Services, jurisdiction shall lie with the court governing the Hospital’s headquarters or as provided under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms shall take effect from September 26, 2011, and replace any previous Terms.
